delicious flavor. Originally from Belgium, the cattle
are now raised in small farms throughout the United States
and produced in small quantities for premium restaurants,

Welcome to our
website. We are a 5th generation family farming operation,
doing business as
Mefford Family Farms, Inc. in
Peaks Mill, Kentucky. Through our lean beef outlet,
Bluegrass Meadows Beef, we provide a
lean and healthy beef
product to local restaurants, health food stores, and at
Farmer's Markets. Our animals graze on native bluegrass and
fescue, and in the winter on locally produced hay. All our
beef is antibiotic, steroid, and hormone free.
